Open Journal of Chemistry is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the latest advancements in medicinal chemistry. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and perspectives in medicinal chemistry and related disciplines.
Open Journal of Chemistry is a journal for the prompt disclosure of novel experimental achievements in the many facets of drug design, drug discovery, and the elucidation of mechanisms of action of biologically active compounds. Articles are sought which emphasize research in chemical biological relationships, especially on: structure-activity relationships, investigations of biochemical and pharmacological targets of drug action, and correlations of structures with the mode of action of biologically active compounds. Studies will be welcomed that increase our understanding of biochemical interactions between drug molecules, ions, free radicals, and sterically important sections of macromolecular targets.
Open Journal of Chemistry is a journal that publishes studies on all aspects of medicinal chemistry: organic synthesis; biological behavior; pharmacological activity; drug design; QSAR; molecular modeling; drug-receptor interactions; molecular aspects of drug metabolism; prodrug synthesis and drug targeting. It provides a medium for publication of original papers, short or preliminary communications, and invited reviews.
Open Journal of Chemistry supports the scientific innovation and advancement in all related aspects of medicinal chemistry and research community by increasing access to peer-reviewed scientific literature. It also brings multiple internationally peer reviewed member journal under one roof thereby encouraging knowledge sharing, collaboration and promotion of interdisciplinary science.
The Scope of the journal include : Biotherapeutics Including Molecular Biology, Production, Purification and Formulation , Drug Design, Drug Mechanism of Action, Heterocyclic Chemistry, Molecular Modeling and, Computational Chemistry, Organic Chemistry , Peptidomimetics , Synthesis Strategies Including New Concepts, Drug Discovery, Elucidation of mechanisms of actions of biologically active compounds, Structure-activity relationships, Investigation of Biochemical and Pharmacological targets of drug action, Mode of action of biologically active compounds, Biochemical interactions between drug molecules, ions, free radicals etc.
